The bar is inspired by Cato Alexander, a New York bartender from the 18th Century, who is considered to be 'America's first celebrity bartender.' On the ground floor, you'll find The House of Julep. The Julep was Cato's signature cocktail and the cocktails only use herbs grown on-site. Downstairs is the main bar, with the first menu being "Colour Has Flavour", which is inspired by synesthesia.
This intimate new Japanese restaurant describes itself as "blending fine Japanese cuisine with the soulful energy of a Tokyo backstreet izakaya." It will be a two-floor affair with a terrace in the heart of London's legal district. The building itself is a hidden gem off Chancery Lane.
