Why are you renovating the Thames Foyer?
We continually invest in our product at The Savoy to ensure our guests experience the very best that London has to offer. We have identified an opportunity to enhance this space, and are excited to re imagine the Thames Foyer into a new, vibrant dining destination at the heart of the hotel.
Can we have Afternoon Tea in another part of the hotel?
Whilst the The Thames Foyer is closed, we will not be offering Afternoon Tea at The Savoy. When Savoy Lounge opens, we will continue to serve the cherished tradition.
What is Savoy Lounge?
The new concept will harmoniously blend tradition with innovation, and will ensure our guests have the perfect setting in which to relax, drink and dine, and enjoy a truly unique Savoy experience.This will be a space that evolves from morning to night encompassing breakfast, coffee, lunch, afternoon tea, cocktail hour, dinner, and post show cocktails.
Where can we have breakfast whilst it’s closed?
Breakfast will be served in the River Restaurant or the in room dining breakfast menu will be available for you to enjoy in your room or suite. We will also have a light breakfast offering available in the Reading Room.
Can I make a reservation now?
Reservations for Savoy Lounge will open on the Monday 2 September.
I have an afternoon tea voucher for the previous offering of Afternoon Tea. Will you still honour this in the new space.
Yes, your voucher will still be valid so that you can enjoy your Afternoon Tea experience.
